iPhone Plus

Antonio De Rosa has done it again. Meet the iPhone Plus design.

The iPhone Plus uses a Liquidmetal body (thermoformed on a single plane, without junctions) and the screen has a double alkali-aluminosilicate sheet glass. We’re dealing here with a device that has a 4.3 inch Retina Display, the Apple A6 quad core processor, a 10 megapixel rear camera with f/2.4, 1080p video capture at 30 fps and a 2 megapixel front camera. There’s even a top pico projector, used to beam photos and videos to surfaces.

The Home button is fully capacitive and the handset also comes with a rear motion sensor. It is rumoured to be around 7 or 8 mm in thickness.

Bang & Olufsen Serenata II

The Serenata II concept, running Android 4.0, packing 3 capacitive buttons below the screen and a very rounded format.

This device is actually a rounded piece of material and underneath that there’s a smaller plaque that holds the camera and some serious audio technology from B & O. It has transparent edges that offer some nice light effects. The phone is just 8mm thick. Add to that an 8 megapixel camera, 32GB of storage, a special music service, an ubercool equalizer and tremendous Bang & Olufsen speakers and you’ve got a hit.

Apple QuickTake Concept Camera

The Apple QuickTake Camera design here involves glass and recycled aluminum and has a very long battery life. Its GUI looks like the one of the iPad. This design was created by Joseph Dumary.

The Quicktake is considered the first smart digital camera and it comes with a microphone that can record HD sound, while eliminating extra noise. There’s also Voice Control enabled so you can take pictures just by saying things. The camera lens supports 32 megapixel pics, 1080p videos without compression and this is the first rotating camera lens in the world. There’s an Eyefocus+ feature in the video mode that can target someone by reproducing the effect of the human eyes and create an incredible focus effect.

This Apple camera’s modes include a slow motion one, 3D panorama mode, HDR, 60 fps burst mode, image stabilization, eye tracking and more. This device uses LED flash units that operate independently from one another and deliver perfect photos and videos, even in low light. The screen on the camera is a Retina Mini Cinema HD touchscreen with IPS technology that’s extra wide and supports 360 degree swiveling. The camera also comes with GPS, WiFi, Airprint, Airplay, Photobooth, Edi models, YouTube upload and Flickr.

Apple iWatch 2

The creator of the first Apple iWatch and the iCam camera, ADR Studio have now come up with the iWatch 2 concept. It’s been two years since the first iWatch design, that was praised and published on Gizmodo and Wired. Now there’s a new device, one that integrates WiFi, Bluetooth, a RSS reader and 32GB of memory.

You also get a weather forecast feature, the ability to connect to the iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth or WiFi and a LCD projector, plus front facing camera. The watch has a slim design, uses a polycarbonate main body, an aluminum chassis, PK2 Kevlar insert and a bracelet in 5 colors with polycarbonate insert.

Crescent Reverb Phone

The Crescent Reverb concept phone has a 20 megapixel camera and lots of storage. This sounds like a good replacement for a DSLR and and was designed  by Jonathan De Jesus. Notice the beautiful chrome body and the ultraslim profile.

This model has a power button/toggle button at the top left hand corner, features a quad core processor, 120GB of internal memory, a display at the back too and a main scratch resistant screen. Android Gingerbread is the OS chosen here, but android 4.0 is also an option and you can switch between the two from the start screen. Everything else is based on wireless technology, from phone charging (via dock) to Bose Audio headphones used to listen to music, Bluetooth accessories and more.

Mobikoma Module Concept

The Mobikoma concept phone has been created by Kamil Izrailov. This handset is actually made out of small squares of pure technology, small little gadgets that are fastened to each other through micro locks. Each module has its own battery and processor and gathered they all generate a big computing device and big power source.

You can use Mobikoma collectively as a phone, or even a mini tablet, by adding a few extra modules. Two specific little gadgets are dedicated to the SIM storage, phone memory and microphone. You also get programmed buttons on some of the key pieces of this technologic puzzle. On the side surfaces of the modules in the middle there are apertures and the locks of these elements come apart after pushing a pin into an aperture.

With 54 elements you create a tablet, while 2 elements make a very tiny cellphone (22mm x 44mm x 6mm) and 18 elements make a decent smartphone. You can shape the ideal gear like a U, like an O, like a cross or whatever your heart desires. As the images show, this is a Windows device, so it gives you access to all the famous formats and codecs when it comes to media playback.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Prisma

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Prisma was created by Maika Sylva, from Rotterdam, Netherlands and while it may not be the most beautiful design, at least it’s original. This handset also has some modern specs.

Xperia Prisma comes with a 1.4GHz processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the OS, a display with an 800 x 1000 pixel resolution and a chassis that’s 13mm thick. There’s also a 10 megapixel camera on board and support for 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. The device weighs 140 grams and comes with the usual 3.5mm audio jack.

The classic capacitive Android buttons are on the sharp cut lower side of the phone, that stands out from the entire design. The interface looks nice, but it seems that the image has been dragged and pulled to fit the screen, which is not exactly top notch editing.

HTC Bleyback

The HTC Bleyback is an extremely thin and flat concept, that’s shown in the images below.

The designer envisions a HTC Bleyback priced at 489 euros and its specs should be similar to the ones of the HTC Sensation XL, but with an upgrade.
As you can see there’s Beats Audio branding on board, so the cool headphones that come with the Sensation XE and XL will be included in the mix. HTC BleyBack looks like a device that can challenge the very thin Motorola Droid RAZR to a duel, when it comes to waistline.
